- COVID-19 Vaccination Efforts: Implemented one of the largest vaccination campaigns in history, significantly reducing COVID-19 transmission and mortality rates across the country.
Infrastructure Investment
- Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA) - 2021: Approved a historic $1.2 trillion investment in infrastructure, focusing on roads, bridges, public transit, broadband, and clean energy, aimed at modernizing and revitalizing America's infrastructure.
- Affordable Connectivity Act: Part of the IIJA, this act provides funding to ensure affordable high-speed internet access for low-income households, closing the digital divide and expanding internet connectivity nationwide.
Climate Action
- Climate Initiatives: Rejoined the Paris Agreement, committed to reducing greenhouse gas emissions, and launched initiatives to promote clean energy, electric vehicles, and environmental conservation.
Technology and Innovation
- CHIPS Act - 2021: Launched the CHIPS Act to strengthen domestic semiconductor manufacturing capabilities, ensuring national security and technological independence.
Social Welfare and Equality
- Expansion of Social Programs: Expanded child tax credits, increased healthcare subsidies under the Affordable Care Act, and supported initiatives to address poverty and inequality.
