Established in 1964 by President Lyndon B. Johnson, the program aims to foster a sense of personal involvement in national affairs and to cultivate future leaders for public service.

Description:White House Fellows work full-time as special assistants to senior White House staff, Cabinet secretaries, and other top-ranking government officials. They engage in a broad range of tasks, including policy-making, administrative work, and special projects. Fellows also participate in an education program consisting of roundtable discussions with renowned leaders from various fields, including government, business, media, and the nonprofit sector.
